Located along the key junction highways in 6th of October City in Cairo within an underdeveloped plot of desert land, the OHD Sales Centre is envisioned as a mirage- like haven appearing within the arid desert landscape, and envisioned as a gateway to a future city that will grow in the horizon beyond the facility. HIGH-PERFORMANCE ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIES/The high-performance strategies employed in this building include an outer green belt that serves as a protective measure, reducing sound and air pollution from adjacent highways while creating visually appealing views and user-friendly outdoor spaces. The second skin structure blocks direct sunlight, reducing

heat gain and glare, while allowing filtered natural daylight to reduce the need for artificial lighting. A second roof structure with a porous mesh and steel design provides additional sun protection while enabling airflow and filtered daylight to the open spaces and courtyards below. It also houses PV cells, encourages views of the cells, and promotes a natural flow of cooled air between the second roof and the primary roof, reducing heat gain indoors. The presence of breezy green courtyards allows for filtered natural daylight and creates intimate and user-friendly outdoor spaces, further reducing the reliance on artificial lighting during the day.
